The MakerBit connects to the BBC micro:bit or Calliope Mini with Callio:bit M to provide easy connections to a wide variety of sensors, actuators and other components. With the IOExpander you can add additional 12 LEDs using the I2C-port. So you can use 12 LEDs and still use all the Makerbit pins or you can use 24 LEDs (and loose the MakerBit pins) and built your own MakerBit advent Calender!
This makecode Extension provides easy to use Blocks for it. Hackster project and Gerberfile for PCB-Production will be available in February 2020.
